Chris Rayner – Personal Trainer

Before becoming a personal trainer Chris worked as a licensed massage therapist. He is currently enrolled in the Physcial Education program at UAA and is working to one day be a Physical Therapist.

Chris has lived in Alaska all twenty-seven years of his life and loves it up here. In the summer he enjoys hiking, camping, backpacking, bicycling, playing Ultimate Frisbee or messing around with parkour. In the winter he snowshoes and puts a pair of studded tires on his bicycle.

Chris engages in wide variety of fitness and health related activities including yoga, martial arts, and parkour. He believes firmly that health is a skill that must be learned and practiced, and enjoys teaching these skills to other people. You can find him leading boot camp classes emphasizing functional fitness at The Dome Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10a.m. and 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 9am.
